I don’t sketch nearly enough – there’s only so much time a mum has in a day! But I’d like to get into a habit of sketching more, and I do really love sketching with coloured pencils. I find drawing relaxing and mindful. I sketched this little fox face a couple of nights after my cabin arrived – I wanted to do something small and creative to celebrate my new space! But what to draw? My eyes settled on a calendar picture of a mother fox with her little one which I’d pinned to my pinboard. I would credit the photographer but I’m sorry, I don’t know who took it.
Hopefully this is the first of many sketches I can share with you on this blog – I’m optimistic ☺.
